We have two great events planned for all ages today, Saturday, June 25. If campers want to cool off in Grapevine Lake, we have a day offering the latest in water sports lessons.
Saturday meet us by the beach area for FREE stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lessons between 12:30 to 3pm. There will be all sizes of paddleboards, and instructors onsite to help you learn how to move around the shoreline. There are long paddles to help you maintain your balance and easily maneuver the board by yourself. Event is for campers of all ages, especially those who are young at heart.
In addition, we have a few reservation times left for a FREE personal surfing lesson on a wakeboard that afternoon between 1 - 4pm. “Wakeboarding” or “wake surfing” is a popular new water sport, which requires balancing on a short, wide board, usually towed behind a boat at the rider’s comfort for speed. We have the gear; all we need is YOU.
Please call Activities Director Adrienne Nicodemus, 817.410.3491, early this week to make your personal reservation ahead of time, as space and time are limited for the Wake Surfing lessons. Come out and try something new… after all, that’s what summer vacations are for!
Very good information and facts! I have been looking for some thing similar to this for some time now. With thanks!
