The Vineyards Campground is open year-round for upscale RVing and camping. Nestled in a Cross Timbers forest on the shoreline of beautiful Grapevine Lake, we are located halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth and easily accessible by Interstate highways throughout the Metroplex. The campground offers an array of amenities to enhance your camping experience. The Vineyards Campground has full hook-ups, pull-thru sites, a group Pavilion available to rent for special occasions, its own boat ramp and several courtesy docks, great fishing on Grapevine Lake, a nature trail, a children’s playground, clean bathrooms/showers, a Laundromat and planned weekend activities throughout the year. In addition, we offer kayaking, Geocaching, bird watching, summer firework shows, a camp store, golf cart rentals, ice machines, and the Best Staff to answer any of your questions. Not only is there plenty to do on the campground, the city’s historical downtown district boasts of a vintage train district, great restaurants, wineries and wine-tasting venues, local entertainment, and unique shopping. Grapevine is well-known as The Christmas Capital of Texas, and also is recognized nationally for its unique hometown Texas festivals—MainStreet Days in May, and GrapeFest in September; so plan to visit The Vineyards Campground often. With one of the largest outlet malls in the USA just a few minutes from our front gate—the Grapevine Mills Mall offers great shopping, movie theatres, and a new LEGOLAND, in the near future.
